The ocean has a way of pulling people toward a fresh start. For Josh and Azana, the rugged coastline of Apollo Bay offered more than a scenic detour along Australia’s Great Ocean Road – it delivered sanctuary. After battling years of operating their first business through lockdowns in regional Victoria, they traded Shepparton’s inland heat for Bass Strait’s salty shores. It was there they could finally step back, breathe, and launch their new venture.
Cup of Chino, an organic providore and cafe, emerged as the spiritual successor to their previous life, but with a deeper, more intentional pulse. Located on Pascoe Street, it’s a space where the aroma of exceptionally brewed coffee meets the earthy scent of fresh, organic produce. But this isn't your typical coastal cafe. Cup of Chino is a manifestation of Josh and Azana’s belief that regenerative, organic farming is the foundational pillar of life. They live with the purpose to bridge the gap from farm to table, inspire others to get curious about the impact the food we eat has on our bodies and the environment, and prove that food grown in harmony with nature simply tastes better.

“We believe regenerative, organic farming has the power to restore planetary and human health. Our role in supporting this vision is to bring the produce to the people. We exist to be a space of community, where people can have a beautiful coffee and taste the organic difference, while grabbing some natural ingredients for their home cooking.”
